Eric's earliest Toronto century home project was in 2009 when he completed his first family home.
Eric and his wife purchased a Toronto home with the intention to grow their family while renovating the property. Eric loved many of the homes historical elements but knew he needed to put in a lot of hard work and TLC to make the home meet the needs of his growing family.
With many years of experience building homes, Eric tackled this project with ease. 

Since then he has continued to inspire Toronto homeowners by helping them create the home they envision by meeting their needs with a clear approach.

Eric Schwindt,
founder/CEO of SCHWINDT Construction Inc.,
has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry
with a strong lineage in design and build. Eric has also carefully built his team by hiring individuals who are: friendly, experienced, and have an in-depth knowledge of building, landscaping, design and more. 

Eric began working with his father at Traugott Construction Ltd., as a teenager, and continued to pursue his work building homes from bottom up for various companies creating large scale suburban footprints in the GTA. 
In 2010 when Eric's first child was born, and after the completion of his own Toronto home he began the Toronto construction company, SCHWINDT CONSTRUCTION Inc.

SCHWINDT Construction Inc., is known for:
sincerity, trust and a transparent nature that allows each client to feel assured by understanding their project development from day 1.

Deeply rooted in construction, the SCHWINDT name has a strong lineage in project management, build and design. 
Jim Schwindt, Eric's father, a former president of Cambridge, Ontario Traugott Construction Ltd, was inducted into the:
Grand Valley Construction Association Hall of Fame
as an industry veteran who's construction company made a name for itself in the realm of big box stores and shopping malls,
"with the known reputation for completing projects on time."
Jim Schwindt was also director and later chair of the Ontario General Contractors Association and subsequently, the Council of Ontario Construction Association.
At Infrastructure Ontario, he also served two terms as a director. 

His induction to the GVCA was "because of his commitment to the industry and for all of the work he does for the community" as mentioned by GVCA's president,  Martha George.

Eric's family lineage is built upon
great-grandfathers, grandfathers, and a father who were:
well diggers, bridge builders, engineers, 
and large scale builders.
SCHWINDT Construction Inc., has grown upon a strong foundation of family
members who were passionate individuals that were driven and focused 
in the construction industry.
Eric has proudly followed in his family's footsteps.
